Over the course of 3.5 to 4 hours (which can be shortened to meet specific requirements), learners gain the knowledge and hands-on competence to provide life-saving assistance until paramedics arrive. The course is certificated by Castleford Training Solutions and the certificate would include your GMC (General Medical Council) or GDC (General Dental Council).
We run monthly courses from or training room or can also travel to customers place of work to carry out the training.

Basic Life Support + Medical Emergencies
This bespoke course covers basic life support plus medical emergencies and will give a learner the knowledge and practical competence required to be able to provide crucial assistance to a casualty in an emergency until medical assistance arrives, potentially saving a life. The qualification covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the safe use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), primary survey, the recovery position and choking. The course also covers the life saving medications found in both Dental and Doctors practices, the usage, dosages and storage of the drugs and how to administer them.
