The Anaphylaxis element of the course focuses specifically on the risks faced in dental, aesthetic and beauty settings, where treatments, local anaesthetics and products can trigger a severe allergic reaction. Learners cover:
Recognising the signs and symptoms of Anaphylaxis and how quickly they can develop
Understanding common triggers in clinical and aesthetic settings (local anaesthetics, latex, medications, injectables)
The correct use of adrenaline auto-injectors (such as EpiPen, Jext or Emerade)

Not only does the course cover the theory behind Catastrophic Bleeds, but it gives the learner an in depth view of all the products that are available to help treat someone who sustains this type of injury. From different Haemostatic Dressings and granuals, to vast selection of the available tourniquets, you will learn how to use and apply them and substitute them with readily available items should they not be available.

Anaphylaxis is a life-threatening condition that requires immediate recognition and assistance, in this bespoke course you will learn how to recognise the symptoms, the triggers and how to treat a casualty that goes in to Anaphylatic Shock. Epilepsy Awareness is a bespoke course that equips the learner with the knowledge needed to know the signs and symptoms of the common forms of Epilepsy. Theory sessions will educate learners on Focal/Absence Seizes and Generalised Seizures like Grand Mal seizes, Tonic Clonic Seizures and Myoclonic Seizure plus more.
