Immediate Life Support (ILS) + Medical Emergencies
This bespoke course starts by covering basic life support in the morning including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the primary survey, the recovery position and choking. The course moves on to Immediate Life Support including airways support using oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal airways moving on to supraglottic airways. Full management of a Cardiac arrest including the use of an AED and supplemental Oxygen is covered before moving on to the medical emergencies/life saving drugs part of the course. Each life threatening condition is covered in brief before covering the life saving drugs found in a dental practice, the storage of those drugs and the administration of them.
